Invisalign is the CLEAR alternative to braces. Clear aligners that are barely visible are worn instead of traditional metal orthodontic braces, to gradually, gently, and safely move your teeth into a better alignment.
Invisalign is based on 3D computer modelling of your teeth, bone and gums and uses the latest technologies in 3D printing to manufacture clear aligners. This ensures great treatment outcomes – without the poor aesthetics of traditional braces.
Here at Goodison Dental, a COMPLIMENTARY CONSULTATION with our Invisalign trained dentist, Dr Tony Goodison will be the first step in creating your plan! This will consist of a digital scan of your teeth, photos and possible x-rays which will then be uploaded into a specialist program designed for tooth movement.
From this, the technicians at Align Technologies, along with Dr Goodison, work out the optimum movements for your teeth, to provide the best outcome for your face. No two mouths are the same -it is not just your teeth that affects your smile. Ideal treatment will vary based on your symmetry, jaw shape, face shape, lip shape and eye position.
Invisalign requires a firm commitment from the wearer, with aligners to be worn at least 22 hours of the day – they only need to be removed to eat and clean your teeth.
After your initial treatment, you will still need to wear retainers (at night) to prevent orthodontic relapse.
Due to variations in complexity, costs for Invisalign will vary case to case, but typically cost between $6,000 – $9,800 for a full case, including the retainers and fixed retention at completion.
